On March 28th, 2017 partnership Gwinnett a division of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2017 Movers and Makers awards at the Gwinnett Technical College. Partnership Gwinnett is a dedicated initiative that brings new jobs and capital investments to the county. Since 2006, they have worked with local partners to attract and retain jobs and foster workforce development.
The Movers and Makers awards are Gwinnett County’s annual recognition of exceptional Gwinnett-based companies involved in the manufacturing, processing or distribution of tangible products. This year’s event was held at Gwinnett Technical College and was attended by over 300 of the county’s community leaders and industry experts. It is also the largest event of its kind in the state of Georgia.
This year KRAIBURG TPE was named Small Manufacturer of the Year and was evaluated based con the following criteria:
- Impact in local community
- Corporate responsibility
- Workforce excellence programs
Managing Director, Jeff Frankish accepted the award on KRABURG TPE’s behalf. “We are honored to have been recognized by Partnership Gwinnett as the 2017 Small Manufacturer of the Year at this year’s Movers and Makers Awards. We have found a tremendous amount of support from our community over the years and we look forward to our continued growth here in Gwinnett,” emphasized Frankish in his acceptance speech.
This program and awards ceremony is proof that Gwinnett County aside from being one of the fastest growing counties in Georgia is also a great place to conduct business and offers companies a place to grow and thrive.
