We distance ourselves deliberately from conspicuously high values – the focus is on the fact that in terms of a sustainable portfolio, we’ve continuously but surely developed in a transparent, honest way and closely to customers’ needs.

The competence leader in thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) will present itself with a broad portfolio and special focus on sustainability at the K 2022 plastics trade fair held from October 19 to 26 in Düsseldorf. TPE materials and market experts of KRAIBURG TPE are looking forward to welcoming interested visitors at boot C58-03 in hall 6. The products they will present includes THERMOLAST® R, the new product series consisting of sophisticated recycling compounds.

Waldkraiburg, September 2022 – To ensure that customers of KRAIBURG TPE always achieve the best result, individual materials solutions are developed for many requested applications. The result: Right in time for the 2022 K trade fair, KRAIBURG TPE presents THERMOLAST® R, a portfolio of thermoplastic elastomers with a proportion of recycled materials. The product series is currently comprised of compound solutions for the consumer and industrial market segments as well as for the strictly regulated automotive sector. What they have in common is a high proportion of recycled materials (up to 41%), the possibility for in-process recycling, the “Made in Germany” quality label as well as good availability.

“THERMOLAST® R combines a lot of things we’ve been working on for the past 16 months and, in a way, it stands for the transformation KRAIBURG TPE has undergone for some time now. We provide 100% transparent information involving all offered solutions. Thus the sustainability of the materials is transparent for all customers. We distance ourselves deliberately from conspicuously high values – the focus is on the fact that in terms of a sustainable portfolio, we’ve continuously but surely developed in a transparent, honest way and closely to customers’ needs”, says Dr. Monika Hofmann, Director EMEA.

“Our products are custom-engineered – that is, they provide the customers exactly with what is needed so that the solution meets the customer’s wishes”, says Michael Pollmann, Sales and Marketing Director EMEA at KRAIBURG TPE. “In relation to THERMOLAST® R, it is important that we are on the road – still far from the goal but also far away from the start, despite changed conditions on the world market. Our customers receive sophisticated, functional and sustainable products – including information on the product carbon footprint. This combination of service and product results in an attractive offer for quality-minded customers”, explains Mr. Pollmann.

“In addition to sustainable solutions, the focus is currently also on TPEs with a certain added value such as thermally or electrically conductive TPEs, smooth touch TPEs and high resistance TPEs for cosmetics. The background: Many compounds are (further) developed based on a current customer request so that the solution always fits the current application. These procedures ensure that KRAIBURG TPE’s broad portfolio always provides contemporary solutions. Thus, KRAIBURG TPE was able to get several new products ready for launch in the past calendar year, which are now used in customers’ applications. With more than 64 portfolio series and over thousand TPE products on offer developed with the know-how of the competence leader in the TPE market, we have for sure something for everyone – and if not, we’ll develop it for our customers”, concludes Josef Neuer, Head of Product Management EMEA at KRAIBURG TPE.

After the experiences made in recent years, K 2022 will be a special event, and KRAIBURG TPE calls upon customers, partners and prospects to enter into dialog.
